A COMPLETE BACKYARD MAKEOVER

These first four pictures were what we were presented with. The homeowners had hired a landscaper to install a pond for them. The homeowners weren't really happy with it from day one, it wasn't very natural looking and the water wouldn't stay clear. We were asked to make it blend in more and look more natural. We accepted the challenge.

These next pictures are what we came up with. We removed the waterfall and added a stream that started back at the edge of the woods. But we're not done!

A few years later, the homeowners asked us to remove the rest of the grass along the back of the house. These next few pictures below are what we had to work with.

These last photos are where the pond and yard are right now. We added several raised gardens with two rain barrels custom made from real wine barrels and tied in to a drip irrigation system that water all the new beds. We also added a new stream with a bridge and several new waterfalls! We finished with an arbor and a natural stone walkway to tie everything together.
